BHP worker's house - Rapid Bay - side verandah

The house is of bluestone and cement brick construction with jarrah floors and high ceilings. The rooms are large and the bathroom has a separate bath and shower, with terrazzo floor. There are two double bedrooms and a sleep-out.
The large lounge has an open fire place. The lounge and master bedrooms have decorative ornate plaster ceilings.
The verandahs offer cool breeze-ways for hot summer days.
