Wednesday some the students learned a very valuable lesson. They learned a new form (Heian Yondan) however through learning Nyumon Futari-geiko, Tegumi, Gyaku Waza and Shimme Waza beforehand, they already knew some great applications for the form at first sight.

Thanks again to Renshi Jason Griffiths for the recent seminars. Saturday covered Bo fundamentals while Sunday covered the 12 Motubu drills and Naihanchi kata. Of most value to KU-SA students was the review session on the Wenesday, aimed at tidying up those loose ends. A very beneficial session indeed.

Tonights class: Introduction of Shiho Futari Geiko.

Tonight: after Junbi Undo, Ne-Keri Waza and Kihon Uke Waza we worked various individual HAPV looking at different defences. Specifically we sampled from Combat Hapkido, Chinese/American Kenpo and Shotokan Karate showing how standard syllabus techniques from these systems also directly relate KU HAPV and particularly Tegumi.
