This is the Holy church of Agia Lavra where the Greek Revolutionaries who were marked for extermination by the Turks met.Here they promised God that they would give their lives to rid the Turks from Greek soil.There are many moving accounts of their heroism in anuals of Greek history,and when you read or hear about them then you really find out what it means to be a hero Return
