NGC 3132 : 10 07.0 -40 26Vela (GC)

THE EIGHT BURST NEBULA
105x: Remarkable - bright, round, disc, with the 10 mag central star easily seen. 150X: Much more interesting - the central region appears a little darker, and there is a brighter, thin ring around the edge of the disc. This ring is stronger along the western side. Overall, the planetary is 50" in size.
