Crescent Honeyeater - Phylidonyris Pyrrhoptera

Usually resident. Moderately common. Male has white eyebrow, white-margined black crescent each side of chest, yellow wing panel; female is duller, browner. Feed in canopy, sometimes hard to see though call is loud and distinctive.

Voice: high-pitched, emphatic 'egypt'.

Call 1: 'egypt' calls; Sulphur-crested Cockatoo and Little Raven also audible
