Common. Resident.
Usually in noisy groups, feeding on nectar, blossoms or fruit. Nests
in tree hollows. Identified in flight by red underwings. Flight is swift,
direct, above canopy or darting and wheeling between trees.
Voice: shrill screeching,
raucous chatter.
