Striated Pardalote - Pardalotus striatus

Resident in small numbers. A very small, short-tailed bird that forages high in the canopy. It has a black crown streaked with white, yellow and white eyebrows, yellow throat, pale underparts and olive back. Nests in tree hollows or occasionally holes in earth banks.

Voice: loud two-syllable chip-chip.

Call 1: chip call.

Similar species: Spotted Pardalote is spotted, not streaked, has all-white eyebrow, has yellow throat and vent.
