Yellow-faced Honeyeater - Lichenostomus chrysops

Resident in small numbers. A small, plain, olive-grey honeyeater with a black-bordered yellow facial stripe. Forages in the canopy, sometimes lower.

Voice: a loud, cheerful 'chick-up'.

Call 1: several loud calls; a White-browed Scrubwren starts scolding at the end of the recording.

Photographs and sounds courtesy Merilyn Browne.
