Where is The Lions Club of Unley?

The Lions Club of Unley is located within the area of the Unley City Council, an inner southern community of Adelaide.

When does the club meet?

The club meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. The second Tuesday is usually a home meeting at a member's house and the fourth Tuesday is a dinner meeting at the Goodwood Park Hotel, Goodwood Road, Wayville, 6.00 for 6.30pm.

What does the club do?

The club engages in a wide variety of activities, such as:

Community initiatives, eg “Clean Up Australia” Day and tree planting
Provision of financial assistance and support for young people in the district for recreational or educational purposes
Lions “Youth of the Year” Quest
Door knocking for “Red Cross Calling” and Salvation Army “Red Shield” Appeal
Sale of Lions Christmas Cakes and Lions Mints
Transport for Senior Citizens
Assistance with Unley Council's Australia Day Citizenship Ceremonies and "Unley Way To Go" community fair
Annual Wine Bottling
and much, much more!!!!
