I was first invited to Malaysia in 1990/1991 to celebrate the Chinese New Year. I had the opportunity to travel from the south (Johore Baharu) to the North (Alor Setar) and over to the island of Borneo in the east (Kuching and Tawau). I visited sacred buildings and swam in pristine waters. I have very fond memories of Malaysia.
